“The Bachelor; love or money”

First off I love The Bachelor, and at my house 6 of my best friends come over every Monday to watch. I agree I think that we all do need to step back and ask whats more important, and especially Ali in her situation. I do have mixed feelings on this though because it is a reality show, should she give up her entire life and make a huge step of giving up her job in this type of economy? Also, for something that’s not a sure thing. In all respect he is dating 4 other women, and admits to having mixed feelings. To me this would also be a very hard choice, and i probably would not have made the same choice, but no one every said LOVE was easy. Can’t wait to see what happens next week!

I could not agree with you any more, I feel that Tiger could have but a little more heartfelt in to his speech.  He hurt his entire family and it seemed as if he was reading right from the paper.  I agree that his PR people had their work cut out for them, that hours of preparation went in to a 10 minute speech.  If he want his reputation back he need to get with it and act like it.  If I were him I would try and reach out to my fans and let them know I was not perfect and I know I made a mistake but want to make up for it.

I agree with you 100% I love reality TV shows to, but you right I didn’t get a chance to watch the new show but the way it sounded it could give PR practioners a bad name.   Most of the time when people ask what my major is and I say PR they go off in to some tangent about how easy it will be or how I’m gong to wine and dine people and this makes me so mad.  Truth be told only a few percentages of people get to wine and dine clients, most of the time PR people are doing the back bone work.  Wish people knew the hard work and dedication going in the PR practioners work.

This is just too sad for me I can’t believe something like this had happen in one of my favorite theme parks SeaWorld. I didn’t know much about this tragedy until a few days after the fact, I was some were under a rock. I feel like SeaWorld should have don’t a lot more research on the animal before they let it in to the park. Tilikum is responsible for at least 2 other death comes no supersized to me. I’m not sure what I think should happen to Tilikum because after all he is a giant whale but deafeningly do not think he should go back to performing so quickly.

I agree with you and Kristina I think he needs to invest in a really good PR firm to get some of the heat off of him.  I also agree that he probably didn’t mean to say that or even come off sounding like he was ignorant, but it happen and now he needs to fix it.  Most of the time they know what’s going to be asked and in this case it seems that he or, his publicist did not do their home work.  Also, I think he need to do more than just say sorry for the “n word” maybe a sorry to Jessica and Jennifer too.

I could not agree with you more, all TV is today is reality show. Honestly I don’t think these shows could be any faker. I think they play out the drama or make it up so that people want to watch. Sometimes I think the so called “DRAMA” is real but most of the time completely fake. I personally think they dating shows are the fakest, only because of shows like the Bachelor. I use to be a bachelor watcher and would tune in every Monday night but after they show ended this season, and Jake wants to be famous, I knew it was all fake.

Wedding can be so tricking especially when it’s time to pick out the perfect gown. There are so many different choices out there and picking the right gown can be overwhelming. I am not sure with stores around the Statesboro area, but Atlanta and Kennesaw, there are several great options. You might want to try, The amazing gown in Kennesaw or Cinderella’s closet. I have been in both boutiques, and they have an over whelming about of different gown. They also have several different venues and designers they work with. I hope this helps and good luck hunting for that perfect gown.

I think she may be the worst dance on Dancing with the Starts since Holly Madison or Kim Kardashian. I’m not sure how or why she is still on the show. I thought the show was a dancing show not a popularity contest. I understand that mostly women watch the show and vote, and the LOVE her, but honestly it’s just not even fun to watch. Honestly it’s kind of like pulling teeth for me. She looks amazing but her dancing has to go. I like this show and I hope she does not win because I think it will ruin the show credibility.

I really like this post some many time people always for get to be thankful for stuff. I think back to growing up everyone was thankful for getting to go to school and college, but now it just a common thing. We all should be so thankful that were able to be apart of a University like Georgia Southern. There are so many thing I am thankful for and im sure I don’t express that enough. I think that some times we all need to step back and see who we should thank. I am glad I saw this post.

I hope this is a start of a better side of Chris. Who really know what happen with him and his ex, but it didn’t sound good. I think this is a great idea for him to throw a party or benefit to help out a community that is in dire need. I hope people can see he is trying to make an effort and will continue to improve in the eye of the public. Even if he doesn’t he is still helping out so many people who need money and I think we should be thankful.

    1. I agree, I think this is so sad and something need to be as soon a possible. I am not 100% on all of the budget cuts but the ones I have herd are in some cases unfair. I don’t understand were they have come from and why all of a sudden they are happened. I think that some stuff we don’t need could be cut, or money be talking away for stuff that is not important to our education. Over all this just sucks that we are having budget cuts and I wish there was something I could do about it other than send a letter or file a compliant.

This was just so sad to me. I this were me, I don’t know what I would think. I don’t think that any one should be treated like this and it was total unfair and uncalled for. I’m not a Taylor Swift fan, but I do enjoy some of her music, I think that was just raw and unprofessional. I think his award should have been talking away or band from presenting or singing on that particular show. Over all I just think this is sad and unprofessional. On the other hand Chris’s PR people have their job cut out for them.

ok, this just sounds gross and looks gross. I’m not sure who thought of this or why, but that a lot of food for one sandwich. This might be a good idea for guy to eat but for girls or women this is just over whelming. In this picture or video the food does not even look good. Also it look kinda messy, so on the “go”, like fast food should be does not seem to work in my eyes. I would like to see what KFC competitors come up with the try to out beat this major sandwich. I might try it just to see if it taste good!

The Super Bowl is my favorite game, because it time of year all my friends and family get together.  This year I predicted the New Orleans Saints.  I like this team for a lot of reasons but because they have good offense.  I liked them  because I feel bad for the town of New Orleans and I felt like they need a pick me up for the community.  Also another reason is Reggie Bush is the only player I really new.  Of corse Manning but I feel like he has lots of chances to win a Super Bowl, but I do agree predicting is one of the best parts about the supper bowl.

I love this post. I do agree 100%, women are good a multitasking, and getting stuff accomplished. If I had to guess men or women, women would have been my pick by far. Sometimes I feel like men only want to network if it’s accomplishing something immediately, but women will wait out the goal and network to get there. I think men do have some advantages over women, but the grey area between is getting smaller, and women want more. I think the PR filed is only going to get better and men should watch out because we want successful career just like they do.

  • I don’t know if I think it’s a stunt for PR or real life. To me I just want Rihanna to be happy and if hanging out with another man does the trick then so be it. I mean think about it when we break up with someone or have a bad relationship we want to go out and hang out. She just happens to be Rihanna and hanging out with Matt Kemp. They are just a little more high profiled then the average person. So who knows real or fake, I’m just happy she is not just sitting at home alone. jessicateal1 said this on Your comment is awaiting moderation. April 28, 2010 at 6:21 pm | Reply

This just makes me so sad, in so many ways. First I love Sandra Bulloch is one of my favorite actress and has been since I was younger, but Jessie James messed up big time. Not only should he have not cheated but to Sandra, who is always been amazing to him. I don’t think Sex Therapy is going to get him out of this one. It has worked for some people in the past but between him and Tiger Woods it has been over played. So I’m sticking with my girl Sandra on this one Sex Therapy is a cop out.

Tiger Woods makes me so mad. I feel like he has lied to the media and his fans since day one. I do understand that it’s his life and we should just like him for his amazing golfing, but in this day and age that just not going to happen. I do think some of the women are exaggerating but for the most part true. I think that so called “Therapy” is not going to help him or get back off of this fans or endorsements. I think he need to step up like a man and speak out for what he did to his wife, children, and family.

I like this blog. I do feel like people are age are addicted to social media suck as: Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, and more. I think that cell phones and internet access always available to use is just making it worse. Just the other day I saw a new cell phone out that let you look at 3 different apps at once. I think that our addiction is only going to get worse and no one is going to do anything about it. After, all its making everyone money so why should be quit using it. I wonder how many times a day the average college student uses a social media?

I will have to say I agree with you about how Tim McGraw coming to our school is helping Sothern’s name get out there and good PR for our school. I think that promoting him as a school to the surrounding communities is also a good way to raise money for our school. On the other hand im not a big Time McGraw fan but I’m still going to show to support our school and to be with my friends. I think a lot of other people are doing this also and its awesome our school is doing something together this big.

I agree with you 100%. I am a major Disney lover too, and I always thing Disney is staying on top of their game with trying to stay in tuned of new media and making stuff important to their customers. The fact they released the movie Earth on Earth day was supper cool to me and fun. I think this is a great way for parents to start introducing causes and “Go Green” to their children. There is so much stuff we can learn form Disney, even though most people think its only for kids. I agrees Disney deserved 2 thumps on this one.

I have not gotten a chance to watch this yet, but you blog post and all the comments have gotten me very interested.  I’m going to try and tune in, or watch it on the internet.  I do remember briefly watching a commercial for it and seeing so advertisement and it not catching my eye, but this post has complete changed my mind.  I also like the quote “If you have to Cry, go outside.”  I like this because I feel like in the work place if you cry it makes you look unprofessional and like you can’t handle you job.  Can’t wait to watch. 🙂

I think this is very cool also. It looks kind of silly at first but once you read the captions and think about it you can see where it complete makes sense. Public Relations has so many part and I think this carton hits on some of the more important ones. How is PR, as word of mouth is awesome, the advertisement, how it repeats the same thing over and over. This is basically why they make jingles, or repetitive commercials. Finally, branding the fact she know he’s a great lover and says it, is exactly what we want our potential customers to think. (with the particular product)

I’m right there with you, I have always wanted to be an event, wedding planner as long as I can think of. There are so many options in PR and I don’t think I know all of them, but as of now it still to be event planning and more. PR fashions is huge and I only know this because of the “Hills” and they jobs they have done on the show. I think you should look more in to it since it seems like you have to make stuff look beautiful. Any ways, good luck with it all.

I agree I’m not quite sure why Burger King put another barn in there commercial. Also, it seemed like Burger King was stealing their food ideas. I understand they are trying advertising they have a new amazing breakfast, but I don’t think it was a good idea to include their competitors in the commercial. I have not seen the McDonald ad yet but I’m sure it does not include Burger King, but if it does maybe I’m just missing the entire bases of the new commercials. I do see the hummer thought that Burger King is admitting the new breakfast sandwich is just like McDonald’s only cheaper.l
